Kelly Ridley
"I graduated with a degree in physiotherapy in 1995 and completed a Masters Degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2006. I have 13 years
experience working with chronic back and neck pain. My experience with specially designed courses to help patients understand and manage
long term pain began in the private sector working with a team of doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists and fitness instructors.
Using this experience and a special interest, I developed the Guys and St Thomas Functional Restoration Programme (pain management classes)
which began in 2000 and continue to run today both in London and Brighton. The course you can attend is based
on this programme."
Warren Travers
"I graduated in 1997 with a first class honours degree from Brighton University. I specialized in musculo-skeletal outpatients in 1999. I
gained 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist in the NHS, working as Superintendent Physiotherapist at Brighton General Hospital from
2005. Since that period I have worked in the private sector providing FRP’s to individuals and company employees, on pain management
programmes in a specialist unit in London as part of a multidisciplinary team, as a specialist outpatient physiotherapist on a 1:1 basis in
a clinic in Haywards Heath and as a lecturer to under graduate and post graduate students on this evidence based treatment method. I have
been running FRP’s since 2004, and am passionate about helping people to understand the vicious circles that frequently drive chronic pain
problems and enable sufferers to better manage or even overcome these. Seeing course attendees flourish both physical and emotionally
following these courses, provides great work satisfaction."
